I am a Western Massachusetts native, who spent most of my childhood in Hampden, where I graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School. I attended my freshman year of college at Colorado Christian University before transferring to Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University). I graduated from PBU in 2007 with dual bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies before earning my master’s degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Phoenix. I previously taught third grade at American Christian Academy near Philadelphia.
I returned to Western Massachusetts in September of 2013 when my husband, Jeff, received the call to become the Youth Pastor at Westfield Evangelical Free Church. Jeff and I live in Westfield with our three beautiful daughters, Sophia, Olivia, Savannah, and our sweet son, Boaz.
I enjoy cooking, scrapbooking, and fellowship with friends and family.
I have had the privilege of using my educational experience thus far in wonderful Christian schools, where I have been able to not only teach the necessary curriculum, but to also demonstrate God’s love through His Word! I feel God’s absolute call on my life to be a teacher, but not just any teacher. My desire is to instill in my students a lifetime love of learning, to instruct and equip them to never give up through challenging circumstances, to educate them to the best of my abilities with grace and truth, to love well, and to extend guidance to the young hearts that I come in contact with every day!
Romans 14:19: “Let us then pursue what leads to peace and to building up one another.”
Colossians 3:17: “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
