I am excited to be working at CCS this year, in the same town as my alma mater, Westfield State University! I graduated from WSU in 2003 with a BS in elementary education. The following year, I started my teaching career as an eighth-grade history and Bible teacher at Pioneer Valley Christian Academy in Springfield, MA. Fast forward several years and after over a decade of being a stay-at-home mom, I returned to teaching in 2016. I taught fourth grade at Trinity Christian Academy in Hyannis, MA. Although my background is in teaching, upon moving to Western Massachusetts this past fall, I was made aware of the needed receptionist position here at CCS and I gratefully joined the team!
My husband John and I have been married for seventeen years, and we have four precious daughters who all attend CCS. We recently returned to Western Massachusetts after my husband received the call to pastor at First Baptist Church in East Longmeadow. I love anything to do with the outdoors and I would be happy spending the afternoon playing a family wiffle-ball game. I enjoy running, reading, and taking long walks on the beach. My greatest joy, however, is serving Jesus with my family through the local church.
