Mrs. Robin Dolbow
Fifth Grade
Professional Biography
I graduated from Valley Forge University in 1998 with a BA in Religious and Elementary Education. I began my teaching career the following week as a long-term substitute teacher in a Christian school in Norristown, PA, where I would later accept a position as a second-grade teacher. Over the last 30 years, I have worked with children in many different capacities, including classroom teacher, Sunday school teacher, nanny, and Director of Children’s Ministry at my church. I am so thrilled to be a part of CCS!
Personal Biography
I was born and raised in Central MA alongside my five siblings. After graduating from college, I moved to Pennsylvania, where I would meet my husband, Doug. We have been married for twenty-five years and have raised two incredible children, Ethan and Gracie. We live in Chicopee with our wild little dog, Daisy. Along with my family, I attend First Central Bible Church, where I serve as our Children’s Director. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, observing the wildlife, taking long walks, and having a good cup of coffee.
Educational Philosophy
It is a privilege to teach in a Christian School. I strongly believe that children are more likely to succeed in their educational endeavors and in all things when a parent is involved. I believe children have the ability to work hard and play hard. Therefore, education should be both challenging and engaging. God should be at the center of all things in our lives, education included. I am so thankful to be able to use scripture and my love for Jesus every day as I work with my students and their families.
